Deaf Hill Primary was nominated for a School of Excellence certificate from Continyou.
Share was been part of their Family Learning programme for over five years. Jan Johnson the Early years specialist contributed a lot of time to making it a very successful group. Each week the group met to discuss the last week’s activity, how it went, what happened, how to improve the activity.
The group then discussed and planned that week’s activity, Jan using her wealth of knowledge to support the learners. The group enjoyed their time together so much that Barbara Setterfield wrote to Continyou and had her letter printed in May 2005 issue 19.
Jan successfully supported six members of the group through accreditation. The learners achieved Playplus level 1. |
