This course was run in the East of Durham. Parents whose children were about to start nursery were invited to join an 8 week course. One morning a week they came together to discuss how to settle their children into nursery. The children were in a separate room to the parents to help the children experience nursery life.
The parents discussed issues about the nursery and made activities from foundation stage Share. The programme ended with a trip to Sunderland Winter Gardens and an afternoon at the Fun Shack!
Five parents achieved accreditation for Numbers Together level 1 TROCN. An enjoyable course for all. |
